As a former pharmacist and licensed provider of IV conscious sedation, Dr. Zhu brings a unique perspective and capabilities to Freedom Dental. He offers many services that cannot be found at other dental practices near us and much farther afield, including:
- Mobile dentistry – Let us come to you! It is rewarding to support the oral health of those who are most vulnerable in the communities that we serve. And, when we provide convenient, accessible oral health care, we support overall health and well-being, too.
- Advanced surgical expertise – We rarely have to refer you to specialists’ offices. Dr. Zhu is trained and equipped to safely and optimally provide everything from removing impacted wisdom teeth to placing dental implants in the jawbone (to support prosthetic teeth).
- “Tooth in a day” – We can replace decayed, broken, or irreparably damaged teeth in just one visit. We use computer-aided design and manufacturing software and equipment to rebuild tooth structure while you wait. At other offices, dental restorations, such as crowns, veneers, or bridges, would require at least two appointments.
- Root canal therapy to “save” badly damaged teeth – We use precision RCT techniques and technologies to preserve deeply decayed or infected teeth. RCT is a straightforward and painless procedure at Freedom Dental.
- Range of relaxing sedation – Dr. Zhu is among the select group of dental practitioners to be licensed in intravenous sedation. He also offers lighter sedation with “laughing gas” or sedative tablets.
- Invisalign® (alternative to braces) — The “cosmetic” and removable way to straighten teeth, Invisalign® effectively and comfortably uses a series of clear aligners to gradually correct crowding and other forms of misalignment.
- Full-mouth rehabilitation – Dr. Zhu blends his considerable skill with comprehensive services to rebuild smiles with everything from restorations (like crowns and implant-supported bridges and dentures) to cosmetic offerings (like professional teeth whitening and composite or porcelain veneers).
